After a nice drive through the countryside we arrived at the Dali Museum.

This picture is actually a nude of Dalis’ wife, Gala, when you look at it with the naked eye, but when you look at it through the camera it becomes a picture of Abraham Lincoln.
This was done with squid ink and close up it just looks like ink blots, once you stand back you can see it is a portrait of Beethoven

Dali also designed with precious gemstones and we saw many of the designs along with the design sketches – really beautiful but too many to post here. Just a few of my favourites below…
By the end of the visit to the museum we were both feeling pretty tired and jet lagged, having hardly slept in the last 48 hours. We were glad to get back on the bus and sleep for the 2 hour drive back to Barcelona.
