Darwin Duck “Reggie the croc”. City tour with the harbour cruising on the Vietnam war duck.
After lunch we did a city tour on “Reggie the Croc” and duck vehicle that drives on land and then also goes into the water and becomes a boat. These were used in WWII. This was a great way to see the city sights. Darwin is much smaller than I imagined, like a big country town not a major city.
When it came time to go into the water we just drove off the road, onto the beach and straight into the water – it felt really strange to drive into the ocean – then we spent an hour or so cruising around the harbour. It was a great day, beautiful weather and lots to see.
