Two staircases down into the main area and there are shops and dining areas around it on three levels…

After a good look around the ship and unpacking our luggage we went up to the top deck for the sail-away party – the live band was great – better music than the last cruise and it was a great atmosphere as we got underway. Instead of the usual one long blast of the ships whistle the captain played The Love Boat theme on the ships horn as we sailed out
we sailed past this cruise ship parked next to us.. it gives you an idea of the size of the Royal Princess….
We stayed up on deck for a while and later went down for a lovely meal in the Horizon Court. The days start late here and end late… sunset was at 8.30pm..
Our plans to watch a show changed – too tired and still adjusting the the time change we hit the sack early.
