This afternoon we went walking for a couple of hours. The city library is just around the corner from us-its a huge, impressive building.
Lots of moose items in the tourist shops.
Beautiful views of the mountains across the bay.
These car2go little cars are everywhere!
… as are huge flowerpots…
Down in the gastown area were lots of old building, heaps of pubs, food shops an boutiques mixed in with souvenir shops.
This is the worlds first steam powered clock.
Being Saturday evening there were lots of people out and about. There is a big soccer game on in the stadium just 2 blocks from us tonight. Quite a few guests staying here are going. There were a lot of people walking up to the stadium cheering and generally having a great time – all very friendly though.
… very tempted to get myself a Canada Eh onesie…
… and of course lots of smokey the bear gear…
Tomorrows chance of rain is 100% – so we’re not sure what we’ll do for the day yet. Its 8.44pm here & Tony is debating wether to go out and try and find a snack – which neither of us really need- so will sign off now and we’ll see what tomorrow brings.
